1968 was the first rum created by the renowned Portsmouth Distillery, resulting in a considered combination of different types and styles of rum to create a sweet, flavoursome spirit. This isn't your typical pot stilled molasses rum - instead, Portsmouth Distillery uses fine cane from Central America to produce a rich bouquet of ripe bananas and spiced dried fruit. It's smooth enough to drink on the rocks but has enough floral flavours to be the perfect addition to a t-punch or mojito. Although it's delicious to drink right now, it'll age incredibly well for years to come.
